Albin Lee Meldau is a Swedish singersongwriter. His debut single ‘Lou Lou’ went viral, with more than 18 million streams on Spotify. In 2016 Albin released his debut EP ‘Lovers’ followed by his second EP ‘Bloodshot’, which secured him a nomination for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the 2017 Grammis (Swedish Grammy’s) and won the 2016 Anchor Award as the best emerging talent. Meldau will now release his debut album ‘About You’ which showcases a rich history of rhythm and blues, moving from guitar and piano-backed ballads, to hip-hop beats and dance-pop. Think about Al Green and Van Morrison meets contemporary James Blake, Sam Smith and Hozier. This fall Albin will be performing at the Melkweg. The album ‘About You’ will be released on CD and LP on the 1st of June.
